This utility can isolate an object from a picture (so that you can paste it in another image), remove an area without leaving any empty spaces and so on. All the operations are very simple. You usually just have to draw over an area of interest, pick some settings and the program does the rest. But simplifying a complicated process has some disadvantages too. You can’t control the details and in some cases the results don’t look so good (images don’t blend, some elements get distorted, etc.). Luckily, in most situations you can correct the issues by taking a different approach and make the final image look at least decent.
Understanding how this piece of software works would be pretty hard if not for the tutorials. The live demonstrations are very good, explaining with clarity how to achieve an effect.
Overall, this is a nice utility for beginners that want to understand how to create a photomontage or they just want to have fun. Although it doesn’t always achieve great results, it’s impressive that with so little user input, the program can do so much. The algorithms are really good.
